What happens to me if I am diagnosed with MS?
The course of MS varies widely from person to person. Some people may only ever experience mild symptoms over their lifetime while others may have relapses followed by incomplete remission when disability may worsen in a stepwise fashion with each relapse experienced.
MS is not a fatal condition and most people with MS have a close-to-normal life expectancy.
